NEW DELHI: Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli, despite struggling to walk and dealing with multiple health issues, was spotted outside the Wankhede Stadium following the IPL 2026 clash between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday. Kambli was seen walking with the support of two men and was photographed by media personnel.Fans and mediapersons gathered outside the stadium to greet Kambli, who represented India in 17 Tests and 104 ODIs between 1991 and 2000.In a video that has gone viral on social media, some fans were heard saying, “get well soon, sir.”Kambli responded with a smile and a thumbs-up gesture.Meanwhile, aggressive half-centuries from Travis Head and Heinrich Klaasen powered Sunrisers Hyderabad to a six-wicket win over Mumbai Indians.Head laid the foundation for Hyderabad’s blistering chase of 249/4 in 18.4 overs with a 76 off just 30 balls, while Klaasen sealed the win with an unbeaten 65 off 30 deliveries, including seven fours and four sixes.Their efforts overshadowed Ryan Rickelton’s unbeaten 123 off 55 balls, which had earlier guided Mumbai Indians to 243/5.
