The index looked at factors, such as travel advisories, local crime data, Hurricane Risk and Health Care Readiness, to Complete the list.
Here’s why Aruba was ranked no. 1 on the list and where the other caribbean islands stand.
Why was aruba named the safest caribbean island to visit?
Aruba ranked at the top of the list namely because of its low crime rate and focus on tourism safety.
Surrounding Caribbean Islands Such as the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Haiti, Have Us Travel Advisories Citing High Crime, Civil Unrest and Limited HELTH CARE in the ARAS.
However, on a scale of zero to 10 – 10 being the safest and zero eating the least safe – Aruba Had High Rankings Across the Board.
The happy island ranked 10 out of 10 in terms of travel advisory safety, nine out of 10 for crime, 10 out of 10 for 10 for Hurricane Risk and Eight Out of 10 for HEALTHCARE, According to the Caribbean Island Safety Risk 2025.
The country has not been hit with hurricanes recently. Also, it has a strong Healthcare system with Dutch Standards and A Level 1 – “Exercise normal precautions” Advisory from the US State Department.
But Aruba is not just highly ranked due to its overall safety. It also boasts national parks and natural preservs that will keep visitors com coming back for more.

While Aruba Topped The List, Barbados Came in Not Too far Behind in Second Place While Grenada Came in Third Tied With Curaçao.
